Intro to Oil Pastels Class

An Introduction to the beautiful, forgiving, and expressive medium of oil pastels. We’ll explore color blending, mark making, color theory, and drawing from life. This class includes more than $50 in quality supplies. You will go home with knowledge of fundamental techniques, some finished products, and all the supplies you’ll need to continue your journey with oil pastels. Taught by talented artist and experienced instructor Ingrid Wiemer.

We do not think financial barriers should prohibit people from participation in arts education. We are hoping to fund one scholarship slot for each class. If you are in a position to give towards that fund, there is an option to partially or fully fund a scholarship when you register. If you want to take the class, but cannot afford the full registration, please email whitney@oddnodd.com 

This one-day class meets in the back room of Odd Nodd from 6:15-8:15pm
