A Rural Pen Inkworks Black Ink Made from Guns Dissolved in Acid

Handmade Ink made by alchemist Thomas Little of A Rural Pen. This ink is made from GUNS DISSOLVED IN ACID. The iron oxide remains are combined with sumac tannins resulting in a gallotannate iron ink. 

This ink is for dip pens, quills, reeds, brushes, etc., and not to be used in fountain pens. 

Color ranges from purple-black to grey to coffee, shade dependent on paper type. 

Each 1.75 oz glass bottle is hand labeled, including a stamp indicating which kind of gun was dissolved, and is closed with a cork stopper and wax seal. 

Please note that while we will take every precaution to package the bottle for shipment, the handmade nature of the cork and wax seal may result in some slight leakage.
